The Canberra Balloon Festival is part of the week long Canberra Festival normally held in March. At 6.30 each morning, around 50 balloons take to the skies from the lawns in front of Parliament House.lVVverVery impressive apad Parliament House.

We were there disgustingly early on a crisp Sunday morning to witness the final launch.
Alex's favourite balloon was called 'Nudie', I can't imagine why he thought that was funny!
I played with lots of photos, trying to get the right reflections in the water!
The Bees were Jessica's favourite; they were clever the way they turned to kiss!
Can you see the Scotsman....his reflection was good too but the kids are in the way!!
I tried to get an arty angle on this one too!
