That blob? It's a Koala. The video footage is better and there is loads of it. This was just outside our Apartment in Noosa and it was quite exciting to see one in its natural habitat. Having seen a herd (is that the right collective noun?) of Kangaroos on the way to Fraser Island it was a good day for wildlife spotting

A Golden orb spider that has mated with a normal orb and hence the white body, apparently. Not as impressive as the Huntsman we saw the night before. We don't have to worry about either of these though. It's the ones you don't see that you worry about.

This is Jessica and Alex outside reception of where we were staying the little white blob on the floor is the owners dog who they constantly wanted to go and visit and treat like one of their virtual "Nintendogs". Jessica has been sad about leaving friends and family behind but knows that she will be seeing them all again. When we left here though she was in tears for about 30 minutes the big softie.

Final animal encounter? PIGS. Not a complimentary term for the NSW constabulary but suits the theme of this post. In case you can't tell this is our first speeding ticket in Australia. $225 and three points for Tina. I was caught in Northamptonshire 6 months ago so we're quits now. The fact we didn't stop (We thought he was gesturing the car next to us) did not amuse him and meant we got the siren treatment as well. Luckily it is not America so no spreading them or guns to the head but a big telling off. Tina for some reason did not want to be photographed holding this and is suitably ashamed.

Right, in order, we'll go for:
● herd of kangaroos
● mob of kangaroos
● troop of kangaroos
Spider very scary, but beautiful photo.
Pigs is not an acceptable term for policemen. Not even in Australia. And not even when they have given you a speeding ticket.
Not really understood chaos theory before, but I like to think that when Tina found a poor, crying child's Wimbledon t-shirt and swapped it for a bigger one for herself, she set in motion a chain of interconnected globe-spanning events which has finally caught up with her...
Quand on crache en l'air, on récolte sur le nez...

I'd hate to say "it serves you right"... However, can I remind you of an event back in 1995 when a certain friend of yours (aka my other half)got a ticket on Roman Road, young Tina was very smug and made much of mocking him for this? What goes around, comes around.... Still, shows you're settling into the lifestyle!
Love n hugs x
