"Forster and Tuncurry have developed into busy twin towns aimed at Aussie families. Summer sees the lake come alive with screaming kids and sunburnt adults. Visually it's well on the way to becoming just another sky rise nightmare but that doesn't appear to be deterring anyone."
Sounded like the perfect Chappell getaway. Our lodgings this weekend were actually twenty minutes South. Cost? zero! As the librarian, Gail, at Chris's school kindly gave us the keys to her Mum's beach house. It's not much she said. Well first views of "Camelot" backed this statement up....

The verandah needed a bit of TLC and the curse of the B and Q chairs was once again upon us.

But it was free...... oh and did I mention the location?

and the view!!!!
The fact that leaning on that rail was the most dangerous thing I did that weekend should come as no surprise.

So blow your socks off location and views; ask Alex the best part of being there and he'll mention the air hockey.

This was at the local recreation club, recommended for food and lakeside views. Someone however neglected to tell us about the 120 decibel meat draw number calling that occurs for about 30 minutes whilst you eat.
