Sounds Gorgeous/ beautiful /wonderful

Apart from our mode of transport it was hard to pick which sound to go for. Milford Sound seems the best known but plenty had told us that Doubtful Sound was the better option. "Bigger, better and less commercial "we were told. Ultimately though it seemed that Milford had the bigger "Wow Factor" and when we read that Doubtful was nicknamed the "Sound of Silence" that finally swung it. From these blog titles you can tell that we are equally inclined to use the occasional "Sound" pun but anything that is going to encourage Tina to do a Simon and Garfunkel Karoake is straight off my to do list.
Anyway we marvelled at the views. (You pay another $200 to go on a boat with poles on it)

Played Spot the Seal. Last Months winner was Miss J. Bullivant from Guildford.

Jessica and Alex also enjoyed climbing on the life rafts. Whilst I macabrely considered the fact that relying on these over sized burger trays for survival was not a prospect I relished.

Apologies for regular blog viewers who see this image sideways. it will be corrected but did not have time in the Internet cafe. Here is Alex staring
a) wistfully.
b) serenely.
c) admiringly.
d) with apopletic boredom.

at Mitre Peak. Leave you to decide on this one.
